sin·is·ter

/ˈsinistər/

adjective
late Middle English (in the sense ‘malicious, underhand’): from Old French sinistre or Latin sinister ‘left’.

The blade that engendered the rest. Born of fire,  with applied pressure, diligence, and attention to detail, the Riddle of Steel produced Sinister.

As a lifelong martial arts practitioner, I was carrying a Buck folding knife at a very young age and have carried/used some sort of blade since.  Almost four decades later, the current lineup of blades (Dexter and Crane’s Beak) were brought into existence built upon the principled structure of that training, along with the uniquely deep understanding of the human body, its mechanics and its ergonomics.

Purposefully crafted as a left-handed, reverse-grip blade, Sinister checked every box needed for EDC. If you had to only carry ONE blade, Sinister is it. Nothing in this blade system is happenstance: it’s length based on natural anatomical proportions, the thickness to support its edge (but not impede slicing through organic & synthetic materials), the tip angle for maximum penetration while not being so thin that is can no longer slice, down to the invisible handle pins (to reduce eye catching reflections), and sheath & clip selection (best on the market),

This. is. it.
