The shape of the handle makes the blade feel like an extension of the hand, it points so naturally in both forward and reverse grip. The handle also feels far more substantial than it looks, leaving the knife locked in hand. Really perfect ergonomics. The size makes it disappear, making it perfect for daily carry. The fact that it is made from 52100 is a big plus for me. Excellent edge retention, very strong, and a breeze to sharpen. I cannot recommend this blade enough.

I always thought that was bs, until I received my Fledgling. Sit, stand, walk, whatever you’re doing you will forget it’s on your hip (my preferred iwb location for it) or in your pocket. It doesn’t print no matter how hard I try. Deploys naturally on command, and has that HORRIFICALLY SHARP edge I’ve come to expect from Schultz Blades. Want that little friend that blends in and deals damage? Then the Fledgling is for you.

I recently purchased a pocket sheath from Schultz and Wow! The package is impossible to beat.
The blade itself is a perfect space maker that’s tough as nails and perfect in hand with fast deployment.
The pocket sheath is reversible and has a notch cut out for the thumb to aid in taking the knife out easily. It sits soooo low but is somehow very easy to deploy and is extremely stealthy and unnoticed. Amazing product.

It has replaced most of my knives. It’s small enough to conceal yet still packs a serious punch. Awesome work, as always.

The quality of blade/trainer and kydex sheaths for each is absolutely incredible. At this price point you won’t find anything close to the quality Schultz Bladeworks puts out.

Bonus points to the owner for being willing to answer questions through DMs. Customer service is there.

No frills. Just a small thing that cuts very aggressively well.

Just got back from overseas where she was carried everywhere including some well secured locations. Great transitions from land to sea environments as well. Great work

The speed and power you can deliver with the design of this blade and sheath are surprising given its size. It’s a no brainer – you need this on your belt.

I carry it as a complement to the smaller Dexter, and this is a perfect larger companion. The handle design means great force transfer as well as easy retraction. The sheathing process takes a couple reps to get used to, but the retention and all around feel of the sheath is fantastic.

You’re supporting a great blade maker and solid dude by getting one of these, too!

Compact and conceals well. Three finger grip handle provides plenty of “beef” for secure control but allows manipulation of blade.
Edge is plenty sharp and will take abuse. Great EDC for utility as well because for its size won’t raise any eyebrows.
